Duality OCT- Round One- Warriors

“Congratulations to all of you for making it through the audition process! To be perfectly honest I don’t know half of you half as well as I should like; and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.” William spoke loudly and briskly but ended with a chuckle at the nervous glances of the new recruits at his statement; Too which I might add, was a joke on his part.

“But never the less I have gathered you all here for one purpose. War is showing its bleak head once more upon the horizon and we needed to call forth Unova’s new light’s in this darkness. Now don’t fret-“ He added as he saw some of the recruits becoming nervous as to what they had gotten themselves into.” –For you won’t be on the front lines, but some of you will be chosen for...A more special mission.”

Marcus walked out of the castle now sporting a bright red sash around his waist as well as carrying several folded sashes of the same colour as he stood by his father.

“Now, we have to decide, which of you lot will be fit enough to be given this mission and that is what we will be deciding right here. Right now.” Marcus moved forward and began handing out the sashes to seemingly random people, but there were only 16 in total.

“Now, the person you are stood next to should have a red sash...Wear it...And the person next to you who doesn’t have a sash, congratulations you are now paired up with the sash wearer!”

“The challenge is simple. You all start in the grand dining hall. People wearing the sash get a 5 minute head start and must take the sash to the top of the watch tower, but the person without the sash, must also take the sash to the stables.”

“By this, my father means you must fight the person you are stood next to, retrieve the sash, and take it to your designated location. In order to win you must arrive at your designated location WITH the sash, if you arrive without the sash or not at all, you fail.” William smiled now cheekily.

“Oh and I should add, you have one hour to reach your location, and don’t forget, this IS the castle. Don’t break anything. Myself, my team and Marcus here will be dotted around the castle grounds, watching to make sure you don’t break anything or attempt to seriously harm or kill each other. We will intervene if need be.” And with that he clapped his hands together smiling like an idiot.

“RIGHT THEN! YOU TWO!” He pointed at two random people. “You’re up first, so get to the grand hall and prepare to run!”


CAPTURE THE FLAG: CASTLE EDITION

Warriors will be paired up in a 1v1 contest of capture the flag
Competitors will be assigned separate locations. Their 'goal' must be reached within the hour, sash in hand.
The catch: only ONE trainer will be given sash to wear. The sash-bearer will begin with a 5 minute head start, while the trainer without must catch up to claim the sash for their own. The competitor who reaches their goal with the sash wins the match.
The contest WILL be watched by William, his team, and Marcus. They will be scattered across the area, making sure you don’t do any property damage; This is the castle, after all.


Rules

All your Pokémon may assist you in battle
But your pokemon cannot be used as mounts or a means of transportation
There will be absolutely no killing
The red area on the referenced Map is strictly off limits
You must show your opponent
You don’t have to show the other contestants doing their test
You are allowed to cameo the princes and servants and other people. The castle is alive with activity and will constantly be busy. Remember that.


Other

Competitors start in the grand hall

People with a sash get 5 minute’s head start, whilst the people without must stay in the grand hall for the 5 minutes.

Then it’s a race/battle to reach your designated destination: The top of the watch tower or the barns.

Please note if your name is highlighted red, you have been given a sash and 5 minutes head start, if your name is not highlighted, you do not have a sash and must wait 5 minutes before trying to capture the sash off your opponent.
