Ada's not defecting. It will be shown when Alexa get's chance to upload her round, but Ada is staying with Kanto military, not telling anyone she knows Teddy went and defected and Teddy's not telling anyone that he knew Ada was going to go AWOL so she doesnt get into trouble.
